"Connecting with Students: Boosting Teacher Web Literacy, Enriching Classroom Instruction."
We would like to welcome each of you to the class "Connecting with Students: Boosting Teacher Web Literacy, Enriching Classroom Instruction." In this course, we will be working on improving your web literacy skills and introduce a variety of technology activities to enhance your curriculum. There is an "outside class-time - online" component required to complete the course. If you do not have internet access at home, we will provide lab space on Tuesdays and Thursdays for completion of these outside activities.
This course is designed for all ability levels. We hope to introduce new skills for most of you but more importantly, we hope to introduce new ideas and ways of thinking about your technology use.
Remember that the SSPDTC is an adult facility. We will have a full class and will not have room for children, spouses or other unregistered attendees.

Class Begins on Monday!Please be prepared to start class at 8:30 am on Monday morning in room 209, upstairs, Sarah Simpson Professional Development Technology Center. Monday will be a half day. Class will end at 11:30 am. Most other days will be full days, 8:30 to 11:30 for the morning session, 12:30 to 3:30 for the afternoon sessions. Lunch will be on your own. You may pack a lunch and eat here or go to a nearby restaurant.
Don't work ahead!Remeber that as I post assignments and activities to the class, you will get a notification. If you have not been assigned a task, a blog or other activity, please do not work ahead and complete the activity. This will save you time and energy! While we appreciate your entusiasm, we need you to have work to do throughout the course!!
